Content production

Videos are a great way to catch your audience’s attention. When done right, they can deliver a powerful message in a short space of time, and leave a lasting impression.

I can work with you from concept development, through video production, right up to final delivery – be that for broadcast, web, an event, or something else.

Get in touch to chat about your ideas. Lets make content you’ll love.

Editing

If you’ve already shot your raw video but need it crafted into content, I can help.

I have a solid background editing TV promos and other video content. I love finding the ‘story’ hidden within the ‘raw’.

For the techies: I primarily work on Final Cut Pro X, but am just as fluent on Avid.

A little about... what my clients have to say

  • “Mango was an absolute delight to work with. The quality of his work was exceptional. The project was completed before our deadline and his responsiveness to our communications were speedy and helpful. Mango is a real professional and a nice guy to work with. I cannot recommend him highly enough. We certainly hope to have a productive relationship with him in the future. After working with Mango, I cannot imagine working with any other editor.”
  • "It was great working with Mango on a video about our charity, Littlemore. He really took the time to get to know us as an organisation and made sure the video fitted our look and feel, as well as our ethos. He did everything - from script, to finding a voiceover artist and a great soundtrack - and he responded really fast to our feedback. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him."

A LITTLE ABOUT ME...

I love telling stories. That's why I got into television.

After studying at South Seas Film and Television school I moved to London and was immediately offered a job on a film set – making the tea.

Pride swallowed, I learned to make a jolly excellent cuppa. I stayed in London for five years, freelancing as a Runner, Production Assistant, Assistant Director and Production Coordinator.

I was then headhunted for a role in Singapore as Production Manager on a Discovery Channel series Anatomy of a Crime.

On my return to New Zealand I took up a position as Creative Producer at TVNZ, where I worked for four years.

I now live in Auckland with my wife and two children.

I love telling stories. But I have learnt from my toddlers, that, when it comes to getting a message across, often the more succinct the better. For example:
"Once upon a time you hired Mango on your creative project, and everyone lived happily ever after."
